After pursuing voice studies at the Conservatoire of Paris and the Manhattan School of Music in New York, the French-American soprano Emilie Rose Bry was accepted in 2013 into the Young Artist Program CNIPAL in Marseilles (France). She has since sung in various French opera houses and festivals the roles of Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Clarice (Il Mondo della Luna), Emilie and Zima (Les Indes Galantes, Rameau) and Hélène (Passionnément, Messager) amongst others. In another production conducted by Sébastien d’Hérin for the Opera of Lyon, she sang alternately the roles of Poppea and Drusilla/Virtù at the Royal Opera of Versailles and the Opera of Vichy. In December 2017 she made her debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the roles of Amore/Valetto/Pallade (L’Incoronazione di Poppea). She then appeared as Frasquita (Carmen, Bizet) at the Royal Opera of Versailles where she returned in 2018 to sing the role of Elvira (L’Italiana in Algeri, Rossini) under the baton of Jean-Christophe Spinosi.
